About Me
My journey as a psychologist began in 2000, after completing my Master’s degree in Psychology. I started my career in India, working at the University of Delhi and as a consultant psychologist, before moving to New Zealand.
In New Zealand, I became a registered psychologist and worked with an NGO that supported the mental health of refugees settling into their new lives. Over time, I stepped into leadership roles as a Senior Psychologist and Clinical Team Leader, where I supported a diverse team of psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, and community workers.
After we moved to Australia, I began the next chapter of my journey in private practice. For the past 12 years, I’ve been based in the Hills District, working with adults from all walks of life. I’m fully registered as a psychologist in Australia and a proud member of the Australian Psychological Society.
I’ve had the privilege of supporting defence personnel and their families as an Open Arms counsellor, and I’ve also worked extensively as an EAP counsellor, helping employees navigate both personal and workplace challenges. Between 2019 and 2024, I was involved in research projects with Relationships Australia, which deepened my understanding of research methods, community needs and strengths, and co-design work.
Ongoing learning is important to me—I regularly attend trainings and undertake supervision to keep growing in my practice. I also enjoy giving back to the community by supporting grassroots organisations and local initiatives.
At the heart of my work, I believe in creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where people feel heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes in their lives.
